Request account deletion here even if the Glowtape app is no longer installed. Sign in on the web, confirm the request, and Glowtape schedules the account and its person-owned data for deletion.
Start account deletionRequest deletion
- 1
Choose Start account deletion and sign in if asked.
- 2
Profile → Security opens directly.
- 3
Choose Delete account and review what will be removed or retained. If asked, continue with Apple once so Glowtape can disconnect Apple during deletion.
- 4
Choose Schedule deletion. The seven-day waiting period starts immediately.
Seven-day waiting period
Your account remains available during the waiting period. You can cancel from Profile → Security until the waiting period ends. After that, the request cannot be cancelled.
Deleted
Glowtape removes the sign-in account and person-owned profile data, including contact details, visibility choices, skills, interests, self-entered credits, audition applications and private audition photos, helper preferences, notification records, and registered push devices. For an Apple-linked account, Glowtape also disconnects its Sign in with Apple authorization.
De-identified theatre records
Shared schedules, attendance, reports, production materials, staging, and other theatre records do not belong to one person's account. Where those records must remain usable by the theatre, Glowtape removes personal profile details, removes the former member's call-discussion text, and identifies the former member as a deleted user. Limited non-identifying deletion-completion, security, audit, backup, and legally required records may be retained.
Primary theatre owners
A theatre cannot be left without an owner. Transfer ownership to another administrator in Theatre → Access before requesting deletion. If that is not possible, contact Glowtape support.
Cannot sign in
Email hello@glowtape.app from the address on the account or use the support page. Glowtape support will verify account ownership before acting. Never send a one-time link or authenticator code to anyone.
